A water-soluble (PVA, polyvinyl alcohol) film is placed on the water surface, then the primed object is dipped to transfer the print. Afterward, a clear topcoat is sprayed on to provide abrasion and chemical resistance. Because the dipping and coating processes are automated, this process delivers high throughput and consistent quality.
Any color or pattern can be printed on the transfer films, such as wood, marble, metallic, or abstract patterns and effects.
