SCS Global Services is a third-party certification body that also develops its own standards. It develops environmental, sustainability, food safety, and quality performance standards, as well as auditing and certification programs. SCS satisfies ANSI requirements for accreditation in ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Conformity Assessment – Requirements for Bodies certifying products, processes and services.2 It is one of California’s first Benefit Corporations, a classification that reflects its commitment to bring about positive social and environmental impacts.
